Tuesday night is usually the night that I attend TOPS with my mom and Nannie; however, this Tuesday night was different. We, along with my sister-in-law Angel, had tickets to see Disney's Beauty and the Beast Broadway Musical at Owensboro's River Park Center.

Because of our conflicting schedules we weren't able to leave until 5:30, and the show was to begin at 7:00. Needless to say, dinner was not an option. We rushed to find the River Park Center only to discover that the GPS was instructing us to turn down a road that had been closed. With only a few minutes to spare, we asked a nice couple for directions and quickly found a place nearby to park. As we made our way to our seats, we saw little girls with their faces all lit up and dressed as Belle; their excitement before and during the show was contagious.
Our seats were wonderful and the performance was amazing! While all of their voices were outstanding and the acting was superb, the most entertaining characters were the servants or objects that filled the Beast's mansion. Everything was wonderful; my only fear was that our rumbling tummies would distract other patrons.

When the performance ended, we were tied up in traffic for what seemed like forever, but eventually we found the only restaurant still open - McDonald's. It wasn't exactly what we had planned. By the time I crawled into bed it was past midnight, and Jason was sound alseep.

After my late night, I feared that I would be worn out and cranky today. Surprisingly, the day has gone really well. I'll try to catch up on that missed sleep tonight though.
